Learn how to use primary sources to thoughtfully include multiple perspectives in the elementary classroom

  • Expert teacher leaders will demonstrate inquiry-based lessons and activities designed to develop knowledge and skills in history-social science as well as language and literacy aligned to the new History-Social Science Framework
  • Participants will explore the amazing collection of resources of the Library of Congress and learn how to use primary sources in the classroom to develop knowledge and skills
  • The workshop is provided at no cost to the participating teachers
  • Two continuing education units are available for those who wish to enroll for $100
